NLRB Adopts Expanded Joint Employer Rule
The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) released a final rule that creates a broadened standard for when two employers that conduct business together are considered to be joint employers and thus liable for one another's unfair labor practices.
 
 
 
Research: Flexible Work Has a Mixed Impact on Employee Well-Being, Productivity
Flexible workers sayā€”and HR leaders confirmā€”that individuals who are working remotely either full time or part time are experiencing more stress and anger than employees who work onsite full time. At the same time, Gallup data shows that remote and hybrid employees are consistently more engaged than onsite employees, which correlates with higher productivity and performance.
