USCIS Raises Fees, Changes H-1B Registration Process
In final rules to be published today, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services raised immigration processing fees for work visas and altered the H-1B visa registration process in an attempt to reduce fraud. 
 
 
 
2024 Talent Acquisition Trends Led by GenAI, Skills-Based Hiring
Employers are expected to invest more resources in generative AI (GenAI) across the HR function this year. In addition, the skills-based hiring movement will continue to gain recognition and employers likely will refocus AI tools to upskill and reskill internal talent.

A noncompetition agreement that a veterinarian in El Cajon, Calif., signed in conjunction with the sale of her veterinary practice to another practice was enforceable, a California appeals court recently ruled.
