Appeals Court: Florida's 'Stop Woke Act' Commits 'Greatest First Amendment Sin'
A federal appeals court on March 4 upheld a lower court's ruling that part of Florida's "Stop WOKE Act" is unconstitutional. The law would have prevented companies with 15 or more employees from engaging in mandatory workplace activities that suggest a person is privileged or oppressed based on their race, color, sex or national origin.
 
 
 
Whistleblower Protections Ruled Unavailable Outside US
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the whistleblower anti-retaliation provisions in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Dodd-Frank Act did not apply to a whistleblower outside the U.S. The 9th Circuit rejected the plaintiff's argument that accessing a former employer's U.S. computer servers constituted domestic conduct.
